Carmel High’s Fresh Step in 2018

Raising Awareness on Women’s Safety: An initiative taken by the police department Chitalsar Manpada,Thane.

A  rally was organised by the Chitalsar Manpada Police Station,Thane.


The officers and the staff members of the police station had participated and rallied along with the girls of Carmel High.

‘स्त्रिया आहेत समाजाचा आधार, नका करू त्यांच्या निराधार’

‘नारी ही सबला, नव्हे ती अबला’

‘करूया स्त्रियांचा सन्मान,देऊया त्यांना सुरक्षिततेचा वाण’

emphasizing the importance of women in society


  The event was  marked by a  seminar, organised in The School Hall. The Senior Police Inspector , Ms.Priyatama Muthe spoke on the occasion .The girls asked many concerning questions about their safety which were answered by the officer.

Year’2017′ -A Remarkable year for Carmel High.

In the year 1987, Carmel Education Society was established by Mr.R.A.Lawrence sir along with his wife (late)Mrs.Shanta Lawrence. Their sincere and selfless  effort is the key in building up such a great institution, where young  inquisitive minds are not only  blessed with education but also their skills and talents are developed.1511151318462

‘On 13th November 2017’-The teachers, students and staff of Carmel High pulled off the biggest surprise and expressed their deep gratitude  to  The Founder and President of the school ‘Mr.R.A. Lawrence sir’

Vivid shades of Carmel High

  • Bhel Day

Our primary section organized a very interesting activity on 22 Sept 2017, where they mixed the ingredients of bhel and had  yummy snacks. Catch the glimpses of children tucking away into the bhel.


  • Clay Modelling

To enhance the fine motor skills and creativity of students, clay modelling  competition was conducted for primary section on 22 Sept 2017. Look at the masterpiece, splendid!!


  • Green Day

Green day was celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm in pre-primary. Students and teachers came in lovely green attire and actively participated in various activities that increased awareness about the environment conservation. Tiny tots have surely overtaken us in playing their part to protect the environment.


  • Fancy Dress

Fancy dress competition, one of the most awaited event was conducted for pre-primary. The competition not only blended learning with fun but also boosted confidence in the kids.


  • Visit to Hypercity

Kids of pre-primary explored places in and around “The Most Popular Mall in Thane – THE HYPERCITY MALL”. Sounds very exciting, a different approach than a regular classroom session.



  • Tiny Tots Tracing and Colouring

Tracing and colouring, the most  essential educational tool  for strengthening  prewriting and aesthetic skills of the preschoolers were very well introduced by Ms. Jyoti Yadav,  Nursery class teacher. “Well begun is half done”



  • Hindi Kavita Lekhan

The activity was aimed to encourage the use of Hindi language through meaning, sound and rhythmic language of poems.  Indeed!! a very thought provoking activity.



  • Tattoo Designing

Our young designers of  secondary section inked their hands and created  fabulous Tattoo designs. Amazing piece of art!
